Merry Christmas!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Adam and I had rehearsal Christmas Eve. We were able to have all of Christmas off. It was so wonderful. We had so much fun just being together and loving life. We slept in till 8 am and then exchanged gifts. What a fun morning. Our nephew, Andrew, had so much fun destroying all of the wrapping paper. We went and saw "National Treasure". It was fun. I really do dislike Nicholas Cage as an actor, but I did enjoy the show.

Breaking Up is Hard To Do

So this is our "we have had it" photo of Christmas Carole. We both loved this show, but we were ready for Christmas to be here and have a wonderful Christmas.
This is our final Crachit family photo. Ooohhh. I am going to miss my little family!
This last photo is of myself and Maria. Here we are on Christmas Eve day rehearsing for "Breaking Up is Hard To Do". You can tell that we had a whole bunch to do and were super busy all day. Oh well.

More Photos

These are just some more fun photos of my show. Paul and I are on the left. Daniel is the young man that I am strangling on the right. I love my Tiny Tim, but sometimes he just has too much energy.

Adam and I are both in "Breaking Up is Hard to Do", the next show at the Alhambra. We are what Adam has termed "vocal whores". We sit in the back and sing into a mic. How great is that? We get paid, we get points and we get to be together! It's awesome.

We both miss our Christmas in Utah with the snow and the mountains, but Grandma and Grandpa Daveline are here so we have a very full house. Lots of fun together! Adam also sang at the "Broadway Cares: Equity Fights Aids" concert. I have tried and tried to get the video up, but I can't figure out how to get it up. He did great! I took the night off and just enjoyed the concert. So much fun!

Pum Pum Pum Pum!

I am very much in the Christmas spirit. I get to do at least 8 shows a week of "A Christmas Carole" and then Peggy is Christmas decoration queen. Seriously. It is like a winter wonderland in the middle of Florida. It's awesome!

Our friends, Josh and Tynan took us out to a Japanese Steakhouse. It was my very first time. Sooooooooooo cool. I loved it. The food was delicious and our chef was really fun.

This is my friend, Anna. She plays my daughter in the show and she and I share our own dressing room. She is such a good girl and soooo funny. I am probably the least mature person in the cast, so she and I get along really well. All of the adults hang out together and then our dressing room has become the kid zone. Fun, huh?
These are my adorable little kids, Anna and Daniel. Don't let the little guy fool you, he is a ball of energy. Try harnessing that energy everyday. Thank goodness for the "Muppet Christmas Carole".

I hope you all have a wonderful and merry holiday season!!! I miss you all sooooo much!

Weird Dream

Okay, so this might be so random, but I tend to be one of those people who really doesn't remember their dreams. The only time I do remember a dream is if it's completely bizarre. So I am wondering if there is anyone out there who can help me interpret my latest dream.

WARNING: You are about to enter into my subconscious.

My dream starts in a small apartment. It's just Adam and myself. I appear to be about 6 months pregnant. A little tummy showing, but not a whole bunch. All of the sudden, Adam's parents show up, except his parents happen to be a very thin Arnold Schwarzenegger and Rita Wilson. They told us that they are here to help with the babies. Plural. They told me that I needed to lay down. So I did, and I had a baby. Just like that. No one offered to help, so I cut the cord, cleaned up the baby and let Adam's parents hold the baby. Then Adam's step parents showed up. Now this is strange because in my dream, his parents didn't get divorced. He just had step parents. Even weirder, Adam's step parents were Christopher Walkin and Kathy Niajmey. I then had another baby, no help, cleaned it up and let Adam's "step parents" hold this baby. Then, my parents showed up (my actual parents). I then had a third baby. This baby looked like it was about 1 year old. I cleaned up and went to let me parents hold their new grandchild and they looked at me and said, "No thanks, we'll wait to hold one of the cute babies."

Alright, what the heck?!?!? I can't even begin to try to understand what my subconscious is thinking.

Here's to all of you and your pleasant dreams!!!

Turkey Day, Gingerbread Men and Christmas Carole

We had such a fun time down here on Thanksgiving. We started out the morning by going to the Ward Turkey Bowl. Andrew, who is just 2, tried to play too. The little guys in our ward were so nice. They let him have his own football (or feetball as Andrew calls it) and he ran up and down the field with them. Really cute. I even joined in and played and got the first touchdown for my team. Shows them to pick me last!!! (In all fairness, I think I just scared everyone. See, I was so excited that I caught the ball that I ran down the field screaming.) After feetball, we went back home and had a wonderfully yummy dinner. It was a great day. I did miss the Walker family Thanksgiving and the giant basketball game, but I was very grateful to be with family.

For family home evening a few days later, we all made gingerbread men. We had so much fun. Andrew was very enthusiastic about it until he figured out that you could eat it, then he got a wee bit side tracked. Adam actually ate that entire cookie!!! I couldn't believe it. Mine is still hanging up as a decoration. It was awesome fun.

This is a picture of my little Crachit family. The guy in the back is Paul and he plays Bob. The girl in the red is Anna and plays Sarah, our daughter and the small guy in the front is Daniel and he plays Tiny Tim. The girl in the center is Jackie and she is the understudy for both of the kids. We have a lot of fun doing 10 shows a week. LOTS OF CHRISTMAS CAROLES!!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

So, here we are! During the mornings we get to do these Children's shows where kids come in and we do a performance about the first Thanksgiving. We start out as little kids and then we take a trip to "Magic Land" and go through time or whatever. This time we go back to England and talk to the Pilgrams before they leave on their long journey to America. It is really fun. Adam sings "Go the Distance" while he is on the Mayflower. When the Pilgrams get to America, they meet the Native Americans (I am one of them) and we teach them how to become one with nature. I sing "Colors of the Wind", we go on a goose chase, eat some popcorn and say Happy Thanksgiving. It is about 45 minutes and soooo much fun. I thought you guys would want to see our cast. And I wanted to tell you all HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Music Man, the Ballet and a Broken Toe

So here we are at the rehearsal, just chillin'. This is just a few the cast members. We are reahearsing at the Musicians Union Hall right now. The picture below is of me (obviously) and Kevin. We play Tommy and Zanita. Now, we are frowning because in this version of the Music Man, they WROTE US OUT!!! We still have those names in the program, but we 're really just the two big kids that hang out with all the little kids. Yes, it is slightly awkward.

Kevin is always entering with the ONLY little boy in the cast because the two of them are the only two boys in the town. Kevin is 6'3" and all I am saying is that it does not look like a wholesome activity. I always enter with the other little girl, who is 10. *Blink Blink Blink*

These next photos of Peggy and I at the Ballet. We really did try to get a good photo of the both of us, but we couldn't stop laughing.

This last set is of my little piggy. I was in church and started getting out of the pew and my littlest piggy decided to stay behind. Ouch!!!!! I thought it was broken, but it started feeling better a few days later.

Six Facts (you get to decide if they are interesting or not)

Okay, so Jen tagged me and I think it's way too much fun! I guess that means you get to know some facts about me. I am not that interesting, but I will try to get the good stuff!

Here are the rules:

A: Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.

B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog for these rules.

Easy, huh?

1-I love burned popcorn. Not charcoal burnt, but nice and semi black. So much more Flavor! I also love burned carrots, burned potatoes, burned meat. LOVE IT!

2-I LOVE TO READ. It really doesn't matter what subject matter or how long they are. I just adore reading. Adam knows that if I get a new book, I am pretty much useless until it is done. Good thing is, I am a quick reader, so it only takes an evening or so for me to finish.

3-I have a deep and horrifying fear of the dark and of clowns. I am 25 years old and I am still afraid of the dark. Clowns are just wrong and evil. Sorry for any of you who have aunts and uncles in the circus, but they are just wrong!

4-Like you, Jen, I am super emotional. I think it might be a Walker thing. My dad is the emotional one of the family. But I am super emotional. I can cry at the drop of a hat. Sometimes I am super strong and nothing can phase me, but the next second I will get a popcorn kernal in my teeth and end up sobbing. I have no idea what makes me that way, but there you have it.

5-I think 15 steps ahead. It makes it so that I carry things in my purse just in case. Such as, I have a couple of diapers and wipes in my purse. I don't have any kids. Really, I carry them just in case I am out with my nephew and my sister-in-law has run out or perhaps I am using the ladies room and a frantic mom has run out. I carry a stapler, a thing of tape, a scarf (and I live in Florida!), pretty much anything you might ever need. I am not able to be excited about something until it is actually happening because I sit and think about all of the things that might happen to prevent it happening. Weird, but I am very organized. So that's good!

6-I HATE being the center of attention. I love theater and acting and whatnot, but I hate being the center of attention. Birthdays are horrible, when you are sitting in front of everyone and they are watching you and waiting for you to open gifts. Or when people hear you are an actor and they say, "Oh, sing something for us!" I hate that! It is sooooo awkward. I don't know if I will ever feel comfortable with stuff like that. I get better at hiding my discomfort, but I am never comfortable with it.

Okay, there you have it! Here are my six:

Amy Shreeve
Kristi and Andrew Hill
Heather Daveline
Tynan and Josh
Rachel and Mike
Timmy Hall

If you have already done it, you don't have to do it again, but you guys are it!

Our Florida Life!

Oh give me a home, where the lizards do roam, where the rain and humidity flow! Where seldom is heard a 4 syllable word and the sun gives you blisters all day! Home, home in Florida! Where Charlie and Bailey all play! Where seldom is heard a 4 syllable word and the sun gives you blisters all day!

Life in Florida is as fun as ever. Adam and I are loving life. Adam is actually.......deep breaths............liking his show. For those of you who don't know, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is probably last on Adam's list of shows he wants to do in the near future. I think it falls right after tap dancing with Satan in "La Cage" for eternity. However, it's a lot better than he anticipated and he is having fun being the "dancer" of the group. Thank you MDT!

I am doing really well also. I have been having so much fun with Daria. She is such a sweet little girl and I am having so much fun homemaking. Although, I am going a bit stir crazy. I NEED MY SHOW TO START!!!!!!! "Music Man" starts in November, so I am just sitting tight till then.

Oh, I just got a new family picture of the Walker's. We took this in August when all 17 of us were in Utah to celebrate my parents 30 Wedding Anniversary. Wow, my sisters are GORGEOUS!!! We had sooo much fun together.

We miss our family and friends, but we'll see ya'll soon.

A baby boy for Allison and Steve!

Allison had her baby! Hooray for her! and Steve! I am so happy for them. This is my very best friend for college. She is stunning and I am so happy for both of them!!! I am sure that they are going to be great parents. I just wish I could be there to hold the little guy. Congrats to the Books Family!!!! Tyler is so handsome, what a doll!

A day at the Pumpkin Patch!

As I have mentioned before, I watch an adorable little girl named Daria during the week. She is just so sweet. I get to pretend to be a mommy and we go places and play all day long. Well, Heather (my sister-in-law who lives next door) and I decided to dress up Daria and Andrew (my nephew, Heather's son) and take them to the local pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins. It was sooo much fun.

Here is Daria, Charlie, and Andrew sitting patiently while we went crazy with the cameras

Here is one of us heading to the Patch

And this is one of Andrew and Daria as Pilgrams!

Okay, so how sweet are those little guys? I am going to be INSANE when it's my own kids. We had sooo much fun.

Our Blog

Hello Friends!

We decided to start a blog because we have moved around so much, it's hard to keep in touch with everyone. We are having a wonderful time here in Florida. Adam is in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". He is playing Simeon and having such a blast! It feels so great to be making a living doing what you love. We are also both working from home doing data entry and customer service for Adam's company he worked for in New York. It is really nice to be able to earn money while having the freedom to do what you really want to do. I am watching a young girl in our ward during the day. My show doesn't start till the middle of November, so I am playing the waiting game.

We are loving all the time we have with family down here. It is so nice to be close to them. We do miss all of our friends in New York and REALLY miss our branch family. We are excited to learn what we need to down here so that we can get back to NY soon.

No Baby news, so don't ask. All I know is that pretty much everyone I know is pregnant or just had a baby and I am missing all of it! I wish I wasn't.

We will definately keep you updated!

Andrea and Adam
