Day Two-Horseback Riding

So we woke up the next day and Adam planned something AMAZING!

HORSEBACK RIDING!!!

I love riding horses. Adam and I had the best time in West Yellowstone when we went riding and here we went again. It was awesome!!!!
This is the cute little farm house. It also had a petting zoo that was so sweet.
Here is me on my horse. Notice how not excited I am. SOOOOOO fun!
Here is an alligator that we ran across. Crazy, right?
At the end of the ride. We loved it!!!
Here is one of the little guys from the farm. He was so cute.
Here is one cute little lady. She gets free roam of the farm.
We loved her. She was so sweet. The farm rescued her and now she lives there.

Savior of the World

Adam and I were asked to direct our stake's production of "Savior of the World". We were both lucky enough to be able to be a part of "Savior of the World" up at the Conference Center and we always feel a little bit badly at each holiday season that passes without being in it.

We are so excited to be putting this together down here in Orlando. This has been an amazing experience. Directing a production is a whole insane experience, but thankfully our cast and crew have been so supportive and kind. We are starting into our last 2 weeks of rehearsals, so I am going to be a little bit crazy.

If you are going to be in Orlando Nov. 19-21, let me know. We'll get you tickets!

Menchie's!

We love this frozen yogurt place called Menchie's. It's amazing! We go here all of the time.

They have about 12 different flavors and like 35 different toppings and you get to try he flavors before you buy it then you pay for your treat by the ounce. BRILLIANT!

My fav's? Georgia Peach or Peanut Butter Gold.

A Trip to the Hospital

So we are directing "Savior of the World" for our stake. After rehearsal one night I was locking up the church and felt a small bug bite me on my second toe. It was a little bite and I didn't think anything of it. Adam and I got in the car and as we were driving home I kept itching it. It kept getting worse and worse. Then my underarms started itching and burning. Then my hips, then my lips started swelling. Then my eyes started burning. By the time we were home, I felt like everything on my body was burning and itching. Adam gave me some Benadryl and then he gave me a blessing. I thought that I would just soak in a cool bath and I would get better. Adam looked at me and told me that we needed to go to the hospital NOW. I argued a little with him and then gave in. I am so grateful that he listens to the Spirit. We live about 5 minutes from the hospital and by the time we arrived my airway was closed off and I couldn't breath. They stuck and bunch of stuff in me right there in triage and I finally started up breathing again.

Fun times! I got a tiny taste of what my little sister Bethie goes through anytime she gets around peanuts.

Adam got this picture before we went to the hospital. Awesome, right?

Happiness

This is my Abby. She is so sweet and perfect. She was a pain to potty train but now that she is trained, she is perfect. She is that little bit of fluff that greets me when I walk in the door and she always wants to be pet and cuddled.

Thanks Abby! You give our little family a bit more sunshine!

ReShoot

This is a picture from my re-shoot of the "Arm and Hammer" commercial. Unfortunately we had to re-shoot because of the tragic passing of Billy Mays.
I was glad to work again with this sweet girl. Brady played my daughter and even though the circumstances were not the best, it was great to see her.

The birthday's

We got to celebrate some fun birthday's this month.

This is Megan. She is our glorious roommate. She plays Nemo in our show and had some troubles with her housing situation so she is living with us. She is a ton of fun and we have enjoyed having her as a part of our family.

Here she is, her hair all curly and she is ready to be 20!
The cast met us at "Menchie's" after a lovely dinner for Meg's favorite treat.
We all love some amazing Fro-Yo! Happy Birthday Mego!
This is a picture from Miss Melanie's Birthday. We rented a party bus and spent the night riding around and going to clubs. Myself and Ashley (the two women on the bottom) were the designated drivers. Always have a Mormon and a pregnant lady available for that kind of duty.

Happy Birthday Mel!

Anniversary's

We have hit a HUGE milestone in our marriage. For as long as Adam and I have known each other and dated, been engaged, been married, we have not lived in the same place for very long. The longest place we have stayed before Orlando was 11 months. As of August 2rd, we have reached a full year here in the lovely Orlando, FL. We have also signed on for another year here at Disney. That means at the end of our contract we will have lived in Orlando for a total of 2 years and one month. Amazing. We love it. We have been so fortunate down here to be a part of some many different families. Thank you for accepting us and welcoming us!!!

Adam and I, 6 months after starting to date

My dear friend Din and I celebrating our one year of friendship over shared chocolate.

The dressing room girls in green (not planned)

Visiting Teaching in Orlando is slightly different.

Pioneer Day!!!!

We started out our day with "Dress as your favorite Mormon". Matt and I both came as Adam Daveline.
We then started playing games. Here are Scott and Billy in the famous stick pull.
Then came leg wrestling. Matt was undefeated until Adam came. That's right, we know how to leg wrestle!
Rob Stack in the bike parade. He went above and beyond.
Jacob went full out and even brought his Davey Crockett hat, because Davey Crockett was Mormon?
Adam even made his own wagon tied to his bike. WAY TO GO BABY!!

Thank you Nemo cast for helping make this an unforgetable day!!!!

Another July update

So we ended June with our little trip to NY. Even though the audition did not go well, all was not lost. We were able to meet up with friends and eat some amazing food.

Here is some Patsy's pizza. OH HEAVEN!!!
(Don't be jealous Lisa!)

This is our dear friend Myra. She is one of the nicest people in the world. She was able to let us stay with her and met up with us whenever she could. LOVE YOU MYRA!
Here we are at "Don't Tell Mama". Our good friends David and Keith (both former Marlins) met us there. We lived it up with some awesome ginger ale. Plus, David sang/bar tended amazingly well! Thanks for making the effort to come see us!

Back in Orlando, we met up with Kevin and Michael for our monthly dinner night out also celebrating Adam's birthday. We went to Germany!!! (Don't worry, it was right next to America and Norway)

Ashley Draper-Sanchez threw a gigantic Harry Potter Party. Everyone from the Nemo stage dressed up. Here I am as Narcissa Malfoy with my husband Lucius and son Draco Aren't we evil?

This is Adam, the Mandrake. That's right. He was the only one who came as a form of plant life. That's my boy!!!

This is Amy and Lindsey. Amy played Belle until she got married and moved back to Utah. But she came back for a few days and we got to play catch up. She is amazing. And that lovely Miss Lindsey is a dancer at Beauty and the Beast. For now. She actually will be touring with the Rockettes in a few months. GREAT JOB!!!!

I just finished up hosting a convention for McDonald's. I did it on my days off, so I am looking forward to a day off next week. Jim and I are with the same agent and had a blast working together! Love you Jim!

Look Out World!!!

We have been so busy lately. We took a trip up to New York for an audition. It was a good experience because it was very humbling. I sometimes get a bit too confident and it's good for me to be reminded of that. Humility is such a wonderful attribute to have, I just sometimes need to get it the hard way.

After we got home, I went to an amazing seminar about film and television. It was so inspiring. It just jump started my conviction to keep trying. Keep working.

Dr appointment are.....going. Most of you know Adam and I have been trying and trying to get pregnant for a while and it just hasn't happened. I am now working with a specialist and we are making definite steps. I will not go into detail here. Suffice it to say, it's awkward and painful, but hopefully worth it.

Our Disney contracts are coming up for negotiations on the 22 and 23 of this month. People are kind of freaking out. I understand why. People like the security that the company offers performers. For some reason, Adam and I are really calm about it. We have enjoyed our time with this company sooooo much. We really have. But if it's time for us to move on, we will. God has such a better idea of his plan for us. I just get excited thinking about all the different directions our lives could go. Watch out World, here we come!

Well here it is folks. I finally got a copy of this one. I will post the others as I get them. I promise to update soon. It's been crazy busy, but I will get back on track. PROMISE!

Our Four Year Anniversary!

We took our first purely relaxing trip together. We usually take trips to visit people or go somewhere to visit certain sites/attractions/etc but this time we went to a place called Anna Maria Islands. It was so fun to ride down on the motorcycle together and see the sites. Once we got there we were able to relax and see the sites. Here is a picture diary.
Here we are fueling up for the big motorcycle trip. HERE WE GO!!!
We saw sooo many orange groves that we stopped off and got an orange to share. It was delicious!
We stopped at a cute little gift shop and found these bizzare turtle shell wobble head things. Nobody knows.
Here is the Beautiful view we saw when we got there!

Adam is so happy! I haven't seen him this relaxed or happy in so long.

Adam and I in front of the gorgeous sea. The water was gorgeous and aqua and clear!

Adam and the Mommy Mannatee. Don't ask. I don't know.

Getting ready to go kyaking in that beautiful sea!

My delicious virgin daquri.

Free minigolf! We got certificates from our hotel and then both won another free round.

Delicious pulled pork wrapped in banana leaves with plantains! Yummy!

Fudge covered Oreo icecream cake on a stick!

As we drove back to our house we encountered this strange store. We went inside, AMAZING! It was the prettiest WalMart I have ever been in.

We enjoyed being together sooo much! What an amazingly wonderful husband I have been blessed with! Here's to four more exciting years!
